The swimming pool walls have a Sika waterproof seal (red strip) and a Sika approved waterproof concrete mix to add an extra layer of protection to the waterproofing of the lower swimming pool area.

Moving Forward is a contemporary extension in a Wakefield Conservation Area – The black aluminium cladding has been installed and we are waiting for the Juliet balcony underneath the sliding door. The sleek kitchen is being installed with grey units, white Corian work surfaces and feature lighting bulkheads on the ceiling.

Our new build contemporary house in Halifax has commenced site works. The build has started with the external storm attenuation drain and the new swimming pool which will be built out of reinforced concrete and on an isoquick insulation base.

The brick slips are being installed on the front and are completed on the rear and the timber cladding section on the rear is complete with the front still work in progress. The kitchen now has worktops fitted and looking amazing. We are still waiting for one window which was wrong.

Following on from last months edition of the Homebuilding & Renovating we have another feature in this months magazine on one of our completed disability accessible homes in Barnsley for a very special young lady.

The white through colour render has been applied to the render carrier boards and looking good, the painting has started internally with 25% of the rooms completed.

Moving Forward is a contemporary extension in Conservation Area – The vertical slatted western red cedar cladding has been installed with the grey through colour render behind, the existing concrete roof tiles have been relaid onto the pitched roofs, the aluminium fascias and soffits are progressing and the contrast between the old random coursed stone and the clean white render is coming together nicely. I cannot wait for the scaffolding to come down to reveal the extension.

Moving Forward is a contemporary extension in Conservation Area – The external through colour render system has been applied, the black aluminium windows have been installed, the black aluminium fascias are still being installed, the internal walls are plastered, the underfloor heating system is operational and the bulk of the internal tiling of the bathrooms is close to completion.
