Modern Makeover is contemporary makeover of an existing bungalow in a Lincolnshire Village – Demolition is nearly complete, the foundations are dug and poured, the drainage is being laid and the trench blocks are up to dpc, nearly ready for the timber frame.

Moving Forward is a contemporary extension in Conservation Area – The vertical slatted western red cedar cladding has been installed with the grey through colour render behind, the existing concrete roof tiles have been relaid onto the pitched roofs, the aluminium fascias and soffits are progressing and the contrast between the old random coursed stone and the clean white render is coming together nicely. I cannot wait for the scaffolding to come down to reveal the extension.

Moving Forward is a contemporary extension in Conservation Area – The external through colour render system has been applied, the black aluminium windows have been installed, the black aluminium fascias are still being installed, the internal walls are plastered, the underfloor heating system is operational and the bulk of the internal tiling of the bathrooms is close to completion.

Moving Forward is a contemporary extension in Conservation Area – The block work is up to the roof level, the facing natural stone is complete, the stud walls have started to be erected, the grp roof has been installed, the insulation is being laid ready for the underfloor heating and the existing stone pitched roof tiles have been reset on new battens.

Moving Forward is a contemporary extension in Conservation Area – The steel work has been installed and the new concrete floor has been laid. The steel goal post is to support the main extension structure due to the amount of windows on the ground floor.

Moving Forward is a contemporary extension in Conservation Area – The block work and natural stonework wall are now going up, the posi floor joists are being installed and the existing roof is being stripped back leveled and retiled in the original stone roof tiles.

Moving Forward is a contemporary extension in Conservation Area, we are transforming the existing property both internally and externally to create open plan modern spaces, new larger bedrooms and living spaces. This project is on a traditional property based in a village.
