We received planning permission for this Contemporary New Build Dwelling In Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The project is due to start on site in late summer this year.
The proposed two storey dwelling has been designed to reflect the form and scale of traditional properties in the area. The proposal is modest in its size and the proposed materials have been selected to reflect those of surrounding dwellings.
The design maximises the site views whilst considering the impact of the development on the neighbouring dwellings.
Front Elevation: Main elevation with the garage and only the main entrance windows on the ground floor and windows from bedroom two directly above the garage, the upstairs landing and the dressing room and bedroom in the master bedroom, the bathroom window would be frosted and the dressing room window is not a primary window within the bedroom.
Rear Elevation: The main garden / south facing elevation where all the primary views are focused.
Western Elevation: To the side of the garage with only two windows on the ground floor one from the w/c and the other in the utility, the w/c window would be frosted. On the first floor there are no windows.
Eastern Elevation: To the side garden with windows on the ground floor from the kitchen / lounge / dining space and one window upstairs from the ensuite of the master bedroom which would be frosted.
