The existing detached dwelling is a four bedroom property with an integral double garage, a basement and three reception rooms. The existing building is in a state of disrepair and in much need of external facade treatment along with the upgrading of insulation in the walls floor and roof. We proposed a contemporary makeover which includes upgrading the insulation, looking at sustainable options, changing the external materials and remodelling the internal plan. There are no extensions proposed.

We received planning permission for this extension and alteration to an outbuilding in Harrogate mid last year.
This contemporary design reflects the high quality design standards achieved in all our designs and was commented as ” It is considered that the proposal would be an exciting way of reusing a rather utilitarian building and with the addition of cladding to the elevations would result in a more pleasing building within the Green Belt.” Harrogate Borough Council Planning Department Planning Report
